Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze, huh? Loved by women and men alike, the Romantic tough guy. I really liked him in Point Break. It wasn’t just the Swayze character and performance, but the movie itself was great. I liked the action and conflict with the relationship between Utah, played by Keanu Reeves, and Tyler, played by Lori Petty rounding out a cult classic. But it was the Swayze character, Bodhi, that seemed to give the story its soul.

There are so many great Patrick Swayze Movies. Why is this American icon so beloved by so many? For me, he stars in movies that are loved by myself and my Wife. The first movie we ever saw together, on our first ever date, was Ghost. I held her hand the first time at that movie. It holds a special place in my heart. But it’s also a great movie. Demi Moore can only hope to be as lovely as my Wife, but she puts in a wonderful performance alongside Swayze in this wonderful movie.

My Wife and I also both love Road House and Dirty Dancing. Nobody puts baby in a corner and Nobody puts My Beautiful Wife in a corner either.
